I’ll continue my showcase of some of my favorite photos with this post.

As is often the case, the quality of the photo by itself isn’t the reason I like the photo. It is more often due to the surrounding circumstances and the memories they conjure. Take, for instance, the photo of Erin and the costumed Stitch character. When the Lilo and Stitch came out, Erin was enamored with the whole movie and Stitch became a favorite character. On one of several Disney visits, I captured the first time that she interacted with the character after the movie. It was great to see her light up with such sheer joy over meeting a live version of an animated story with which she was so deeply engaged. It was lucky timing on my part.

The picture of Erin holding Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows book during the midnight launch is also a great photo. You really get to see deep in her eyes how happy this event was and how much it meant to her at the time.

So, here are some more favorites:

My Saturday morning ride with a co-worker from AMS started off a little on the chilly side. But, with proper equipment choices, it turned into a comfortable ride with a small portion joining an in-progress duathlon.
