Another silly song

It was a perfect end-of-summer day to head off to the Minnesota State Fair with my daughter. A couple laps around the fairgrounds ended with a Weird Al concert in the grandstand.

I was able to get some great photos while the family celebrated several of my seven nephews’ birthdays in Hutchinson. The nephews also provide ample opportunity to practice my photography skills on very photogenic kids.

A weekend in Glenwood included a trip to the Jenum homestead – where we were able to do some exploration around the old barn and the woods area.

My Saturday morning ride with a co-worker from AMS started off a little on the chilly side. But, with proper equipment choices, it turned into a comfortable ride with a small portion joining an in-progress duathlon.

My brother and I headed back to our hometown to participate in the fifth annual Tour de Prairie Lakes – a local ride throughout Pope County that is a fundraiser for the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
