I should probably be embarrassed about how enamored I am regarding my new boots. It’s just that – they really are cool and bring me great joy just to slip them on head out the door. Maybe I can start to relate to many women’s own obsession with shoes – but only just a little (since I only own ONE pair that I adore).
BUT – I have now found out that I am not alone in my adoration for the Wolverine 1000 Mile boot. None other than The Flying Tomato himself was seen sporting my exact same boots while being interviewed on NBC.
Why yes – I am cool.

It was a perfect end-of-summer day to head off to the Minnesota State Fair with my daughter. A couple laps around the fairgrounds ended with a Weird Al concert in the grandstand.
