After yesterday's return to riding following a brief hiatus, my body decided that cycling two days in a row was not a good idea and staged a formal protest. This highlighted that I can no longer expect the easy recovery I once enjoyed in my youth.

It was a perfect end-of-summer day to head off to the Minnesota State Fair with my daughter. A couple laps around the fairgrounds ended with a Weird Al concert in the grandstand.
