I consider myself extremely lucky to have so many of my immediate family within driving distance of my house in Plymouth. It gives us the opportunity to share our lives and find excuses to get together.
A springtime tradition for the Jenum family involves the shipment of several hundred pounds of live crawfish from Louisiana for a great seafood boil. We typically keep it really simple, and let the crawdads stand alone as the stars of the show. Once you get past their general grotesque appearance, they are quite tasty and a joy to eat over interesting conversation.
It is the type of event where the photos speak for themselves and provide the real story for the afternoon. And yes, if it’s not obvious in the picture, we are eating bugs.
