A Birthday Celebration
A beautiful spring day was only made more enjoyable by getting together with family and friends to celebrate my dad's birthday. All thirteen grandkids were around to add some excitement to the event.
Ride 2011-25: Zig Zag
The weather and other circumstances finally cooperated for a typical, after-work ride through the Medina countryside. My only complaint is that the roads have not yet been swept - leading to lots of obstacles to avoid.
Ride 2011-24: Anti-Social Behavior
A chance to join a large group os cyclists was declined so that I could focus on some miles that I needed for my legs. This also meant I rode around avoiding the various storms moving through the Twin Cities.
Ride 2011-23: Limping Home
After yesterday's longer ride, my legs decided that they had enough and refused all forms of effort during the last half of the ride. It's just an indication that I need more time in the saddle.
Ride 2011-22: Careless Distraction
With a bad decision crossing a busy road, I put myself in a dangerous position. I need to remember that I in a battle between my bike and a car - I will always lose.
